Homeland - Série 3

Nach zwei mitreißenden Staffeln kommt die dritte, und darin passiert bis auf ein paar Ausnahmen nichts, aber wirklich nichts. Komisch ist, dass mir die Staffel gefiel, ich habe mich nicht gelangweilt, doch ich erlebte das Gefühl, dass ich eine Serie schaue, bei der ich nicht wie angekettet bin und die nicht in einem Fall am Ende einer Folge das Bedürfnis hervorrief, schnell die nächste zu schauen. Das ist bei den heutigen Serien sehr untypisch. Andererseits gefiel mir Carrie jetzt besser, und ich für mich ist die beste Figur definitiv Saul. Vielleicht bin ich komisch, aber ich kann mir nicht gut vorstellen, worum es in den nächsten vier Staffeln noch geht. Und gerade habe ich schockiert festgestellt, dass den widerwärtigen Senator Lockhart mein Lieblingsdramatiker spielt, das sind Schocks. (02.10.2017)

Season 3 had a very slow start. Fortunately, there were some excellent episodes later, so I ended up giving it five stars. I still consider it the weakest one so far, though. Some of the scenes felt like the writers ripped themselves off. They strongly reminded me of the first and second season. What I found completely unnecessary here was everything around the Brody family, which served only as a filler in the story. I can only hope that I won't see anything like this in the next season. 5*- (01.12.2017)
