I really like that the series is not only about (for its time) an atypical relationship, but also intriguing when it comes to coal mines. As if that wasn't enough, there is still a search for the perpetrator of a traffic accident, and as a cherry on top, the creators offered interesting details about the pig breeding at the Sowden family's, so I am satisfied.
