Dvě nevěsty a jedna svatba

Eine tschechische romantische Komödie im Format eines B-Movies. Ich verstehe, dass dies für manche Zuschauer schon ausreicht. Aber wenn Sie nicht neugierig auf Bobík Klepl mit seiner unglaublichen Perücke oder Anna Polívková in einer Sendung über Gartenarbeit sind, wird Sie auch eine Hommage an eine Dorflegende namens Brutus nicht aus Ihrer Lethargie reißen. Nach zwei sehr misslungenen Komödien dieses Jahres kam eine sehr angenehme und erfrischende Überraschung. Mich beherrschte das Vorurteil, dass diese Komödie zu der sehr langen Liste an Durchfallern gehören könnte, doch ich habe mich von Anfang bis Ende amüsiert. Das Trio Plesl, Polívková und E. Geislerová ist zusammen nicht alltäglich, und wenn noch das bewährte Duo Holubová-Klepl dazu kommt, passt alles sehr gut zueinander. Eine unappetitliche Szene und das vorhersehbare Ende werde ich verzeihen. (17.09.2018)

Above all Anna Polívková, Jaroslav Plesl, Bohumil Klepl, and the legendary dance band Brutus ensured that it wasn't as big a travesty as it seemed at first. I quite enjoyed myself and even drifted off into a bit of a daydream, although it's a shame about the easily predictable denouement. (50%) (21.05.2021)

I was bored for most of the film, and I couldn't believe the pathetic attempts at humor. I also wonder why Jaroslav Plesl wanted to be part of it. The protagonist's monologues and her first visit to the family strongly reminded me of Bridget Jones's Diary and the ostentatious product placement bummed me out as usual. (27.10.2018)

One of the many Czech comedies whose premise is not too smart. Quite the opposite. When I think about it the premise is actually stupid. And again it was sponsored by the Television Nova that likes those types of comedies. Probably it is made for their viewers for whom something like this is enough. But it is evident that theactors are good; it just needs to work on the plot more. Jaroslav Plesl’s, Anna Polívková’s or Ester Geislerová’s performances were quite good. There was an incredible number of stupid moments in this movie and the cherry on top was the ending. Without it I might have rated this movie with 3 stars for making me laugh a few times. The whole movie had a pleasant country feel where I didn’t even mind the product placement beginning with the Únětice Brewery. (02.09.2019)
