The inaugural episode of the second season nicely followed the events of the previous series, it just surprised me that we now have a story divided into three time frames, which are further complemented by flashbacks to Pete's adventure beyond the Mexican border. It may seem like the creators have bitten off more than they can chew, but so far they are handling it with grace.
