Die neue Welt hat die Gruppe um Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) endgültig zu perfekt ausgebildeten Überlebenden geformt, die zu skrupellosen Kampfmaschinen werden, sobald es um den Schutz ihrer Gruppe geht.
Um bis an diesen Punkt zu kommen, mussten sie viel ertragen und Unmengen von blutigen Herausforderungen bewältigen. Wie weit werden sie noch gehen? Ricks Gruppe kämpft mittlerweile um mehr als nur um das nackte Überleben. Sie kämpfen um ihr Zuhause. Koste es, was es wolle. Selbst wenn die Bedrohung aus ihren eigenen Reihen kommt.

The sixth season was the biggest disappointment so far. The undead may be visually perfect, but they have also become the most boring component of the series as they have nothing to offer besides shuffling, biting, and grunting. Hostile groups of the living could have put a fresh spin on things if it hadn’t been for the total disregard for logic and common sense in general. Plus, the series seems to be trying to put Zen Buddhism or the hippie philosophy into practice, so I can’t wait for Morgan to start sticking flowers into gun barrels. Clearly, the basic theme has been pretty much exhausted, and I wouldn't mind if season seven was the final one.

The best moment of the sixth season of The Walking Dead is the finale. It is brilliantly shot, especially in the last scene. Sure, the final episode is simply a weird road trip. However, once it gets to what everyone wants, it is worth it. In addition, Jeffrey Dean Morgan proves how well he was chosen for the role. Also, the first episode of the seventh season is here, and it is one of the best and gnarliest ever.
