Staffel 3 spielt mit der etwas rückwärts gewandten Frage, ob Dexter eine Familie gründen und Vater sein kann. Und ob er einen echten Freund haben kann? Ich räuspere mich also, während die Qualität sinkt. Dexter hat sich in die Telenovela Miguel verwandelt.

The third season seemed the weakest one so far, mainly because the writers sidelined the serial killer in favor of Miguel Prada and failed to replace James Doakes. From my point of view, the annoying Rita character didn’t do the series any favors either, only managed to ruin my mood several times. But despite all my quibbles, it wasn’t a total disaster.
