Even the master sometimes makes mistakes, and Duke made quite a few in this case. It's such a strangely naive perspective on searching for communists, lacking any sort of progression, and not at all aided by the voiceover, which may have been used only because the sound couldn't be recorded on location. Weak story, weak impression.
