A straightforward bit-action bit-thriller that doesn't want to be anything more, and that's what's likeable about it. The brilliant Allison Janney in the lead role quickly won me over and I believed everything she said; the script, with one surprising revelation, I suspected was an adaptation of a good book, but it's not, and that’s another good thing. And the atmosphere of the empty, rain-soaked forests is worth millions.
