Edward ist ein künstlich geschaffener Mensch, der anstatt Hände Scheren hat. Als eine freundliche Avon-Beraterin den einsamen Edward in seinem Schloss antrifft, beschließt sie den Sonderling mit in die Stadt zu nehmen. Edward fühlt sich wohl bei Peg und ihrer hübschen Tochter Kim. Und auch alle Nachbarn lieben Edward. Denn mit seinen Scheren schneidet er ihre Hecken und zaubert den Damen Frisuren. Bis ein Unglück geschieht - und Edward zur Hassfigur wird. Ängstlich flüchtet er sich zurück aufs Schloss, wo ein weiteres Drama seinen Höhepunkt nimmt. (Super RTL)
