Die Ex-FBI-Agentin Erin Grant führt gegen ihren psychopathischen Ex-Mann einen teuren und kostspieligen Prozess um das Sorgerecht für ihre Tochter Angela. Um das nötige Geld aufzutreiben, strippt Erin im Nachtclub "Eager Beaver". Eines Abends erregt sie die Aufmerksamkeit des schmierigen Kongressabgeordneten und Lobbyisten David Dilbeck. If I hadn't read all those sarcastic comments before watching the film, it probably would have been a candidate for a Boo! rating. But even so, the scriptwriting and directorial cluelessness really caught me off guard. The producers must have been struck blind... I could forgive the complete lack of humor and tension, but the fact that it's possible to make such an unsexy story set in a strip club is, in a way, fascinating. Demi Moore may not be great, but she delivers her standard performance, which can't be said for all the actors involved. Overall impression: 20%.
