I have a soft spot for Trier (judging for what I’ve seen so far), but I didn’t like Epidemic much. What is it actually about (other than what the synopsis says)? Is it the author's self-reflection, a joke, a parable of the bad consequences of good intentions…? There are some ideas and I do like complex films, but this one is missing clear clues.
