In den Trümmern eines Pfandhauses in Las Vegas, findet Scott McCoy ein seltenes Goldstück. Der junge Student stellt fest, daß die Münze Glück bringt – und das im Spielerparadies Las Vegas… Noch weiß Scott nicht, daß der Glücksbringer das fehlende Stück aus dem Schatz des Leprechaun ist. Und der widerliche Zwerg ist zu allem bereit, um sein Gold zurückzubekommen. Er tötet von Mal zu Mal grausamer. Allmählich bemerkt Scott, daß die Münze nicht nur Glück bringt. Leprechaun 3 still rides on a good wave for me, just like the previous two movies. It doesn't fundamentally deviate and strives mainly to entertain. Don't expect too much horror here, but that's not really the point of the series anyway. The masks are once again very well done, not just the mask of the actual leprechaun, but also the transformation of Scott or the roulette dealer, who is one of the antagonistic characters.
