A solid start to the second season, which slowly begins to style Pablo as an iconic arch-villain and symbol of evil, rather than a cocaine smuggler and drug lord. Why not, it’s actually pretty accurate.

At first, I had the impression that the plot of the first episode of the second season was slightly slower and I said to myself that this time it would be "only" four stars, but then everything started again as I was used to, and the five-star rating was back. I am genuinely fascinated by the contrast between the lazy calm that is soon followed by raw violence accompanied by absolute indifference to life. Delightful.
