Christopher Robin, der Junge, der einst mit seinen Freunden aus dem Hundertmorgenwald die größten Abenteuer erlebte, ist erwachsen geworden. Überarbeitet, unterbezahlt und perspektivlos steckt er in seinem Leben fest: Der Job ist wichtiger als die Familie, mit der er nur wenig Zeit verbringt. Kaum noch erinnert er sich an seine idyllische Kindheit, die er mit Winnie Puuh und seinen Freunden verbrachte. Eines Tages taucht der Honig liebende und etwas in die Jahre gekommene Bär in London auf und erinnert Christopher Robin mit seinen schlichten, aber wahren Weisheiten daran, wie schön die scheinbar endlosen Tage als kleiner Junge waren. Als Christopher Robin in Schwierigkeiten gerät verlässt auch der Rest der Gang um Ferkel, I-Aah und Tigger den geliebten Wald und bricht auf zu einem großen Abenteuer, um Winnie Puuh und Christopher Robin zu helfen.
