Victoria ist Anwältin in Paris, Ende 30, alleinerziehend, hat ein lockeres Sex-Leben und ist charmant-egozentrisch. Bei einer Hochzeit trifft sie ihren guten Freund Vincent sowie Sam, einen Klein-Dealer, den sie vor einiger Zeit verteidigt hat. Tags darauf steht Vincent unter Anklage wegen versuchten Mordes an seiner Freundin. Einziger Zeuge ist der Dalmatiner des Opfers. Widerwillig übernimmt Vcitoria seine Verteidigung. Als sie dann auch noch Sam als Au-Pair-Boy einstellt, nimmt das Chaos in Victorias Leben seinen Lauf. (Alamode Film)

How do you resolve a minor personal crisis, how do you continue being a successful lawyer, and how do you take care of your children? It's not very simple, especially when the crisis isn't actually small at all, but rather quite significant. Victoria finds her way through a romance, and perhaps at the end, she finds herself. I like how it's realistic, but with a nice touch of perspective at times.
