Englisch Making horror villains our of dark, pro-life idiots is a great idea, because you can hardly choose bigger assholes. The topic is current, considering the recent developments in Poland, and also here, in our quiet little Central European neck of the woods, and that is appreciated; really good horror always has some relevant topic. It might be worth mentioning that the topic itself is stronger than the execution, some of the actors looked almost amateurish, but that bothers only occasionally and the general impression is certainly positive. Naturally, this is a film for those open to indie productions, but after seeing the BFU consumers coming out the woodwork with their rubbish and one stars immediately after the first torrent was available, I’m happy to help this likeable film a little. 7/10 ()

Englisch She Who Must Burn is a Canadian production that chooses an interesting, topical, and pressing theme that makes sense. There is no evil in the form of the paranormal. It is more like an evil that is closer, understandable, and all the more terrifying for it. Furthermore, confronting bigotry is even more meaningful and that is what is very good about it. I am sure you have noticed that some of your neighbors look at you strangely, and you do not even know why. ()
