Fantomas-Alarm bei Scotland Yard! Fantomas, der Mann mit den tausend Masken, hat sich auf einem schottischen Schloss niedergelassen, von dem aus er seine kriminellen Machenschaften steuert. Fantomas erpresst von den reichsten Männern der Welt eine "Sondersteuer": Diamanten. Der erste Zahlungsverweigerer wird sogleich eiskalt umgebracht und die Herren von Scotland Yard sind gezwungen, Fantomas' erbittertsten Gegner, Kommissar Juve, zu Hilfe zu rufen. Schon am ersten Abend wird der Kriminalist Juve Zeuge eines unglaublichen Vorfalls, der ihn an seinem Verstand zweifeln lässt und ihn wieder mal an den Rand des Wahnsinns treibt. Doch diesmal soll ihm Fantomas nicht entkommen! (ZDFneo)

Englisch Unnecessary movie that was supposed to be the pinnacle of the series, but instead brings it shame. Most of the plot takes place in a Scottish castle, where the humor and originality have disappeared. The repeated embarrassment with the camera and the corpse speaks for itself. ()

Englisch After two parts, where Commissioner Juve pursued his phantom across France, it was reasonable to change the setting and the choice fell on the conservative environment of a noble residence in Scotland. The gags and humor style are once again identical to the previous parts, and this Fantomas film seems to me to be comparable to the second part in terms of its level. Overall impression: 85%. It's a shame that the production did not continue, as I could easily watch two more parts. ()

Englisch Even by the third time around, I couldn't find anything utterly captivating about it to get me hooked on the series. It's not bad, it just doesn't strike me as explosively as it could overall. It's more comedic, there are more disguises, and it simply follows the old patterns and tries to have some story, which almost gets lost within the gags. ()
