George war ein großer Fußballstar, doch nach einer Verletzung muss er seine Sportkarriere vorzeitig beenden. Einige Jahre später steht er immer noch vor dem Nichts. Er versucht mit mäßigem Erfolg, als Moderator Fuß zu fassen, seine Ehe mit Stacie ist gescheitert, sein kleiner Sohn wird ihm immer fremder. Da bekommt George unverhofft die Chance, die Jugendfußballmannschaft seines Sohnes zu trainieren. Und George ist richtig gut. Er kennt alle Tricks und weiß, mit den Jungs umzugehen, es gelingt ihm sogar, seinem Sohn wieder näherzukommen. Und nicht nur ihm. Alle „Fußball-Moms“ fliegen auf den kernigen George. "The Man to Tear Apart" is a horrifying film that tries to tell us that love is truly the only right thing and that we need to do everything for it. Even destroy the lives of others, and most likely even our own. But the ending promises the well-known "and they lived happily ever after". These modern American fairy tales, which screenwriters churn out in a few minutes when they have enough financial motivation, are a mockery of current creation and the destruction of any values. Entertainment that is not entertaining, but rather boring. Is there really no other way to give people a normal romantic comedy? Should we just fool them into believing that true love is the most important thing and that it doesn't matter how many corpses it takes to achieve it? Everyone lives their American dream, even if they are a scoundrel and irresponsible fool who doesn't care about anyone else. The most important thing is that they get a second chance.
