Englisch I won't pretend that I didn't notice an improvement, but on the other hand, I won't pretend that I was satisfied. The whole Barney's curse angle was cool, giving me a reason to bump up the rating a bit compared to the earlier episodes. However, the creators' attempt at another moral lesson left me unimpressed. Their efforts felt pathetic; someone hitting me with the revelation that I should start with myself if I don't like something about others doesn't exactly qualify as groundbreaking philosophy. It also felt like the writers assumed we were all suffering from collective memory loss, implying Robin's main beef with Patricia is her relationship with Barney, even though she was yelling at her long before that. Moralizing on shaky grounds? Yeah, it's just plain cheap. / Lesson learned: When you've got the skills, you can bend facts to suit your needs. ()
