Yaaay! Lily is back! Yaaay! The return of the most annoying character totally shifted the vibe compared to the last episode. However, my so-so rating isn't just about the little monster's comeback; the writing was weak like the defenses of a small-town dancer fresh off the Iowa bus in the big city. I'm used to Ted being a nuisance, but this time, the creators managed to erase both Marshall and Barney, and that's saying something. / Lesson learned: Are you going away for a while? Think about how you want to return. 1*-
