Nachdem Ted seinen Job verliert, gründet er sein eigenes Architekturbüro in dem Apartment, das er gemeinsam mit Robin bewohnt. Als er im Zuge dessen einen Assistenten einstellt, der eine Affäre mit Robin anfängt, gerät Teds Plan außer Kontrolle. Marshall hingegen sorgt sich um seinen Arbeitsplatz und gründet daraufhin eine Fantasy-Basketball-Liga, bei der all seine Kollegen gegen Bezahlung als Mitspieler fungieren können. So will er seinen Job als beliebter Mitarbeiter sichern. (ProSieben)

It seems like the creators got stuck in that same old rut, otherwise, I can't explain the poor quality. Most of the time, the so-called "humor" revolves around thirtysomethings acting like they're seventeen (and that might be pushing it). The episode had just two things going for it: the Barney/Marshall dynamic and the joke that worked like the perfect insecticide. / Lesson learned: Is a ninja after you? Well, tough luck.
