Ted ist oft bei Stella und muss deshalb eine Menge Zeit im Zug zwischen New York City und New Jersey verbringen. Das hat zur Folge, dass er nicht mehr so oft seine Freunde sehen kann. Als Ted ihnen vorschlägt, für einen Samstagabend nach New Jersey zu kommen, stößt er auf Widerstand: Denn für New Yorker ist New Jersey Provinz und somit verachtenswert. Letztlich lassen sie sich doch breitschlagen und landen an dem besagten Abend in Stellas trostlosem Partykeller ... (ProSieben)

I'm at a loss here — either I'm just not feeling the series anymore, or the first three episodes of this season were genuinely that poor. Might be a bit of both. All I know is, the third episode didn't do it for me either. The plot was meh, and even Barney, usually my favorite, didn't bring his A-game. When the runtime of an episode feels twice as long, it's not a good sign, which is exactly what happened in this case. / Lesson learned: Keep an eye on that expiration date.
