Ted bekommt Zweifel, was seine Beziehung mit Stella betrifft. Als er, kurz nachdem er mit ihr Schluss gemacht hat, einen Unfall hat, macht auch Stella sich auf den Weg ins Krankenhaus, um nach ihm zu sehen ... Barney, der ebenfalls von dem Unfall gehört hat, will auch schnell ins Krankenhaus und wird prompt von einem Bus angefahren. Gemeinsam kommen alle Freunde an das Krankenbett des Weiberhelden – und Ted und Barney versöhnen sich. (ProSieben)

The wrap-up for the third season wasn't exactly the grand finale I'd hoped for; it felt more like plastic than a top-notch cork. The miracles had their moments of funny, got a good laugh there. Barney only kind of kept me entertained. However, the bulk of the plot was your usual romantic mess, aiming for emotional and tear-jerking, which isn't exactly what I'm after in a sitcom. / Lesson learned: Always double-check both ways before crossing the street.
