Louisa arbeitet wieder, und Doc Martin schafft es, Nanny Mel zu vergraulen. Gottlob ist schnell Ersatz gefunden, sodass der Doc und Louisa die Theateraufführung an der Schule besuchen können. Dort lernen sie den einflussreichen Dennis Dodd und seine Frau kennen, die sie prompt zum Dinner einladen. Der Abend verläuft auf Grund einer Bemerkung des Docs über Dodds seltsames Verhalten allerdings katastrophal. Doch Dodds Benehmen hat ernste medizinische Gründe. (Sat.1 Gold)

After the first episode of the sixth season, which I found very entertaining, the series returned with the second episode that was more average. The plot essentially returned to the same tracks that the entire previous season moved in, so Penhale once again tried to be embarrassingly funny, the doctor and Louisa slightly annoyed me again, and Morwenna, who I really enjoy, had little space again.
