American Murder: Die Bilderbuchfamilie

The greatest strength of this documentary is the fact that it is entirely (except for aerial footage for effect) compiled from authentic footage, which adds to the already strong sense of disgust with the main protagonist. Netflix has shown many times before that it is at home in the docudrama genre, and this time it has additionally come up with a rather unorthodox approach to the true crime documentary, which should be clearly appreciated. I haven't been this disgusted (the current COVID crisis aside) in a very long time. [80%] (18.11.2020)
