Der Lehrer Vašek liebt die Prinzessin, doch kann die unstandesgemäße Verbindung niemals zustande kommen. Derweil stößt im Himmel die liebestolle Proxima den Tagesstern hinab zur Erde, um sie von ihrem geliebten Stern Sirius fernzuhalten. Tagesstern landet bei Vašek und hilft ihm, die Prinzessin auf ihn aufmerksam zu machen. Doch Proxima sabotiert Tagessterns Bemühungen. Werden Vašek und die Prinzessin dennoch ein Paar und kommt Tagesstern zurück? (KiKA)

If you accept the condition that they must make at least one new TV fairytale each Christmas, then it’s alright. It didn’t hurt and if they worked a bit better on the relationships between the characters, I wouldn’t mind saying it’s good even. The best were Sirius and Morning Star, and I wouldn’t have minded if their behaviour had been a bit more over-the-top.

I don't know, Karel Janák should stop with the fairytales, because he usually doesn't achieve more than a variation on something better made by someone else. This time he can thank Tereza Ramba for the fact that the result was at least somewhat funny (lively), because only she stands out at least a little from the cast, and especially thanks to her, the film was more or less ok.

An absolutely great concept and very successful execution. This is exactly what I expect from a new Christmas fairy tale. Plenty of snow, excellent performances (Tereza Ramba literally shone), and great costumes and setting. Of course, it also has a quality storyline that flows smoothly. I have nothing to criticize about, and the atmosphere and Christmas magic were in full swing.
