Walt Disney machte aus diesem wunderbaren Märchen den ersten abendfüllenden Zeichentrickfilm, den es jemals gab – ein Meilenstein der Filmgeschichte. "Es war einmal..." so beginnt die Geschichte von der wunderschönen Prinzessin Scheewittchen (Adriana Caselotti), deren Leben durch die eifersüchtige Stiefmutter bedroht ist. Sie findet jedoch sichere Zuflucht bei sieben der liebenswertesten Charaktere, die je geschaffen worden sind: Happy (Otis Harlan), Schlafmütz (Pinto Colvig), Pimpel (Scotty Mattraw), Hatschi (Billy Gilbert), Brummbär (Pinto Colvig), Seppl (Eddie Collins) und Chef (Roy Atwell).
Aber die böse Königin (Lucille La Verne) findet auch hier Schneewittchen und reicht ihr einen vergifteten Apfel. Schneewittchen und die sieben Zwerge – ein Film voller Spannung, Humor Musik und Lebensfreude, der einfach alle wachküßt.

If Disney knew about the crap they’re making under his name today, he’d turn in his grave. This is a beautiful classic fairytale and I spend a nice evening with it.

Probably one of the most iconic and best of the classic Disney movies. A beautiful Snow White, funny dwarves and cute animals make this perfect for a pleasantly spent one and a half hours. And now, feeling a little like Sleepy, I think I’ll go to bed.

The first animated feature film ever, and such a polished diamond already. A classic fairy tale story in such an entertaining, imaginative and impressive rendition that all the other versions would stink in comparison. Simpler, but very charming animation, great music and extremely likeable dwarves, whose figures must have adorned every child's bedside table in the 1940s. An ideal movie for younger audiences even today. 90%

And another classic that I saw for the first time when I was almost 30 years old. One cannot accomplish everything they want and as soon as they want. It is a beautiful Disney fairy tale with everything that the best Disney fairy tales are proud of even today. Great music, a lovely story, excellent characters, humor. In addition, there is absolutely enchanting animation, which you wouldn't believe has almost eighty years of history. Not exactly in 3D, but the characters still move incredibly lively. It's stunning. I must say that the Czech dubbing is incredibly magical.
