Liberation

Based on real life events, Liberation follows a group of soldiers involved in the final days of the infamous Battle of Pingjin of 1949, one of the three major campaigns during the Chinese Civil War. It follows a group of ‘nobodies’ living in the battlefield and how these ordinary people played key roles in turning the war around. (China Lion Film Distribution)
