Von der Grafik her ist es stellenweise faszinierend, aber zu welchem Zweck, wenn die Story schwach ist und mich die Charaktere absolut nicht interessierten, außer vielleicht Nezhs Mutter. Manche, vor allem der Fettwanst der auf einem Schwein flog, haben mich hingegen förmlich irritiert, was ein ziemlich großes Problem ist... Vielleicht ein großer Hit in China, aber für mich ein schwacher Durchschnitt... 4,5/10

Gorgeous. I didn't believe in the film too much, but after ten my reservations faded and I enjoyed one of the best animation films of this year at least. A huge hit in China (750 million in earnings) and enthusiastic reactions from everywhere. The stunning visuals carry throughout the entire two hours and are literally a feast for the eyes; it's a very nice combination of Disney, Japanese Anime, darkness and Kung-Fu. Apart from the visuals, I praise the humour, the music and especially the action scenes – I enjoyed the nicely shot duels with demons or the classic Kung-Fu fights that times reminded me of Ip Man. I haven’t been this excited about animation as I was here. Nezha will definitely stick in my mind for a while. Story****, Action*****, Humor***, Violence>No, Entertainment*****, Music****, Visuals*****, Atmosphere*****, Suspense***. 8.5/10.
