Jessica (Cassandra Delaney) is a young woman who runs a wildlife sanctuary in the Australian outback. She is in for a world of trouble when three bored kangaroo hunters, Sunny (Peter Ford), Sparks (Garry Who) and Ringo (David Sandford) turn their sights on the animals in her sanctuary. When they see how attractive the owner is, they decide to have a little "fun" with her, too, but they get more than they bargained for as Cassandra fights back. (Umbrella Entertainment)

In diesem Fall habe ich offensichtlich einen totalen Fehler gemacht, weil es beinahe eine Schande wäre, eine der markantesten australischen Ausbeutungen zu verpassen. Okay, für den Fehler bestrafe ich mich mit einer Ohrfeige (Klaps, Klaps) und jetzt zum Film. Fair Game läuft wie eine perfekt geölte Maschine. Action von Anfang bis Ende, anhaltende Spannung, wunderschöne Landschaften des heißen Australiens und ein Trio aggressiver Mistkerle, welche die Hauptdarstellerin zur Gejagten machen. Sie ist nicht nur schön und äußerst sympathisch, sondern auch - leider für die Bösewichte - ziemlich fähig im Reiten, Schießen, Schweißen und Stellen von verschiedenen Fallen. Ihr Katz-und-Maus-Spiel wird im Laufe des Films mehrmals umgedreht, bevor es zum großen Action-Finale kommt. Dazu kommt noch Rockmusik, minimale Dialoge, die Brustwarzen der Hauptdarstellerin, ein kluger Hund, unwiderstehliche Kängurus... aber hey, seht selbst! :)

This Australian film is absolutely deserving of its near legendary status in its homeland. It is an incredibly gritty drama about three blokes vying for one woman. It's not so much explicit, but rather the way the film is shot, the shots themselves, and the uncertainty portrayed make it a film that can compete with similar American films and surpass them in many aspects (such as exterior shots).
