Vor dem malerischen Bergpanorama der italienischen Alpen realisierte der legendäre Installationskünstler Christo 2016 auf dem Lago d‘Iseo seine „Floating Piers“. Mit leuchtend gelben Stoffbahnen bespannte Stege aus schwankenden Pontons verbanden die beiden Inseln Monte Isola und San Paolo mit dem Ufer und zeichneten ein abstraktes Kunstwerk in die Landschaft. Das Werk existierte nur für 16 Tage, ermöglichte es aber über 1,2 Millionen Besuchern auf dem Wasser zu laufen. (Alamode Film)

A half-crazy old man and Bulgarian disco bouncer making art. So there's lots of yelling, gesturing, running from left to right, and complaining about everyone else. Landscape art doesn't interest me personally, so I enthusiastically embraced the concept of the documentary as the filmmaker's constant war with technology, people, and his own communication skills. Too bad it’s visually just a well-cut collection of ugly digital camera shots, as is the case with virtually all documentaries of this type at the moment.
