When Mana visits GeGeGe Forest, she finds Kitaro and Ratman arguing over something trivial. They each declare for the I-don't-know-how-many-th time that they're cutting ties with each other. Meanwhile, in town, the water has been contaminated sending everyone running around looking for drinking water. No one knows why the water is polluted, and no attempts at purifying it work. Kitaro believes that the one behind the pollution incident is one of the Four Generals of Betrayal. Kitaro begins an investigation, but doesn't know how to stop the pollution of the water.
