Špindl

Mit Cieslar ist es schwierig, er hat gute Filme während des Krieges, alles andere ist schwach bis schrecklich. Aber wenn man bedenkt, dass er Špindl 2 bereits jemand anderem überlassen hat, kann ich hoffen, dass er im nächsten Jahrzehnt das verlorene Niveau wiederfindet. Denn man kann sich nicht auf ewig solch einem schlechten, nutzlosen, gewöhnlichen tschechischen Unsinn verschreiben. Natürlich kann eine romantische Komödie in den Bergen spielen und die Hauptrollen können zur Hälfte mit Lieblingen von TV Prima besetzt werden, aber es bräuchte auch jemanden, der darüber wacht, dass das Ganze wenigstens ein bisschen zusammenhält und es nicht nur peinlich wird. What can I say? Just bad. I expect a comedy to make me laugh. This forced attempt at a comedy failed to do so even once. Oldřich Navrátil has been on his way to damnation for quite some time and this was just another proof of that. The story was about nothing, the acting was lousy and my impression is that the film was made just to provide exposure for all those who are worried that the tabloids aren’t paying them enough attention. The very pleasant mountain setting where most of the action takes place is probably the only thing I really liked about this sexist tale. And to make matters worse, apart from the main heroine played by Anna Polívková, the cast did not impress me at all. (25%) (18.12.2022)
