Young Public Prosecutor Keiichiro Okino (Kazunari Ninomiya) is assigned to the department of Tokyo Public Prosecutors Office which deals with violent cases. He is thrilled to work with veteran Takeshi Mogami (Takuya Kimura) whom he admires. One day, an elderly money lender is killed and the suspect who is identified, turns out to be a key witness from a teenage girl’s murder years ago. Now questioning the results of the old murder case, Mogami becomes determined to prove the suspect guilty, but at what cost?
