The Wedding Guest makes you want to cry more than laugh, and that may be a major reason why it scored so low. I wasn't expecting any big farce, so I don't feel let down that there are no funny scenes in the movie. The best moments are undoubtedly Adam's pleasant memories of his relationship with Allison, which evoke a romantically dreamy atmosphere. Adam's bitterway of dealing with his unhappy love felt quite real to me, he just could have wallowed in it less long. However, I appreciate that it didn’t have aclassic happy ending. (60%)
