Dr. Shaun Murphy ist kein gewöhnlicher Arzt. Er ist Autist mit einer sogenannten Inselbegabung, was ihm außerordentlichen diagnostischen Scharfsinn bei medizinischen Fragen ermöglicht. Gleichzeitig schränkt es ihn in der zwischenmenschlichen Kommunikation ein, da ihm menschliche Emotionen unverständlich sind. The first episode brought a classic series formula, as I expected: an introduction to the most important characters and the basic plot, clearly, otherwise it wouldn't be possible.:-) I know that not all autists are the same, but I was still surprised that Shaun doesn't have more problems with physical contact. The flashbacks provide interesting information from the doctor's childhood, so I welcome them, and the situation in the hospital clearly showed the direction the further plot will take. So far, 3*+.
