Gleichzeitig schränkt es ihn in der zwischenmenschlichen Kommunikation ein, da ihm menschliche Emotionen unverständlich sind. The first episode delivered exactly what I expected: a classic series setup introducing the main characters and the basic plot. It couldn’t have been done any other way! I know not all forms of autism are the same, but I was still surprised that Shaun doesn’t struggle more with physical contact. The flashbacks provided interesting insights into his childhood, which I appreciated, and the hospital scenes clearly set the stage for the upcoming storyline. For now, 3*+.
