Steve (John Stamos) and Eric (Daniel London) have been best friends since childhood. Both in their 30's and married, and living in quiet Freehold, New Jersey, they feel that their lives have become a boring routine. While romanticizing the swinging 1970's of their youth, Eric comes up with a plan--a final hurrah before becoming true adults: for just one night, they will swap wives. Eric's sure that he can convince Steve, but will they be able to convince their wives, Ami (Meredith Salenger) and Claire (Tara Westwood)?
