Diese Stadt wird von Killer-Clowns regiert. Das müssen zwei befreundete Pärchen schmerzlich feststellen. Eigentlich wollten sie einfach Spaß haben und eine schöne Reise durchs Land machen. Aber schon bald nimmt der Trip eine ganz andere Wendung. Scheinbar zufällig werde sie in eine abgelegene Kleinstadt namens Clinton gelockt. Nichts ahnend machen sie sich auf den Weg und beschließen, in dem ausgestorbenen Ort über Nacht Rast zu machen. Doch schnell merken sie, dass ihr Leben in großer Gefahr ist. Psychopathische Killer in Clowns-Kostümen machen Jagd auf die Neuankömmlinge. Und sie schrecken vor nichts zurück… (Tiberius Film)

ClownTown has every scene done in a way that makes you think you've seen them all somewhere before. It has something of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, you'll find scenes that remind you of House of Wax (the most recent one), and you'll find elements from other recent horrors as well. And then there are the terrifying clowns; yes, they're still clowns, but that doesn't mean you'll enjoy it in any way.
