Comics about Tintin, Bengal stories about private detective Felud, dumb grotesque and many other inspirational sources stand behind this highly stylized and highly unconventional comedy with detective and adventurous elements. The role of the detective takes on the mindful and intelligent, but also a shy and odd student Jagga who overcomes stuttering problems with singing. This is a classic Indian film, where there's a lot of singing, the actors overact a lot, and the main character is supposed to be a teen detective, while in fact the actors are almost in their 40s. It's relaxed, it has humor that's really only good in places, and the entire film is so pleasantly silly and in beautiful visuals that you might even end up enjoying it quite a bit.
