Der unscheinbare Buchhalter Aram wird in seinem Job von seinem Boss ausgenutzt und darf sich dann nach endlosen Überstunden das Genörgel seiner frustrierten Gattin anhören. Doch damit soll Schluss sein. Er fasst einen perfiden Plan, um zu bekommen, was ihm seiner Meinung nach zusteht. Nachdem er sich auch noch Fessel-Tipps von seiner Stamm-Prostituierten geholt hat, entführt er eine junge Schülerin und nimmt sie als Geisel. Zunächst scheint sich das Schicksal zu wenden - doch dann beginnt ein blutiger Alptraum. (donaufilm)

It is a pretty interestingly conceived revenge/kidnap/slasher movie, but I believe it’s the first time in Boglioano’s filmography that I don’t see a step forward, but actually a step backward (especially compared to his previous two films, Late Phases and Here Comes the Devil). Instead of a film by a mature and confident filmmaker, this one feels like an unclear début full of intention and good ideas that the author is still searching.
