Alle lieben Haudrauf-Lehrer Zeki Müller (Elyas M'Barek), aber den nervt sein neuer Job an der Goethe-Gesamtschule: frühes Aufstehen, aufmüpfige Schüler und dieses ständige Korrigieren! Zu allem Überfluss will Power-Direktorin Gerster (Katja Riemann) die altsprachliche Konkurrenzschule ausbooten und dem Schillergymnasium die thailändische Partnerschule abjagen. Ihr Traum: Das Image der Goethe-Gesamtschule steigern, um Aushängeschild der neuen Kampagne des Bildungsministeriums zu werden. Müller und Schnabelstedt (Karoline Herfurth) werden zur Klassenfahrt in ein thailändisches Küsten-Kaff verdonnert. Im fernen Thailand drehen Chantal (Jella Haase), Zeynep (Gizem Emre), Danger (Max von der Groeben) & Co erst so richtig auf und präsentieren ein schillerndes Spektrum an sozialer Inkompetenz. Und als ob Zeki mit dem wilden Lehrer-Schüler-Krieg nicht schon genug zu tun hätte, entbrennt auch noch ein gnadenloser Konkurrenzkampf mit dem elitären Schillergymnasium und dessen versnobtem Vorzeigelehrer Hauke Wölki (Volker Bruch), der nur ein Ziel hat: Müllers Karriere zu beenden! Zeki ist nicht nur sympathisch, sondern vor allem ein Kerl, denn eine solche Gruppe von Vollpfosten zu bewältigen, ist eine Kunst, die nur Buddhas mit zwei D beherrschen. Es ist zwar wahr, dass er nicht mehr die Eier wie damals hat, und außerdem ist dieses soziale Herz wieder etwas verstärkt worden, aber zum Glück ist dieser vulgäre/vaginale Humor geblieben und es ist gerade dieser grobere Spaß, der sich ziemlich zuverlässig um Ihre Bauchmuskeln kümmert. Der Film läuft von Anfang bis Ende, hat keine deutlichen Lücken, die thailändische Exotik lockt mit ihren Stränden und insgesamt ist es wieder erkennbar, dass alle beim Drehen eine Menge Spaß hatten. Und das ist schön, denn man schaltet komplett ab und vergisst für die zwei Stunden alle Lebenssorgen. Also Mission erfüllt und in zwei Jahren fakju für die Drei.

The sequel to this incredibly raunchy and at times quite disgusting comedy is surprisingly even better than the first. I attribute it mostly to the fact that Karoline Herfurth, who I didn't enjoy in the first one, didn't get as much space here. I could have done without her character. Thailand is perfect for all possible and impossible shenanigans and the Germans have done it their way. Okay, some of the scenes were way past the point of bullying, but I still laughed more than I have in the last month combined. And even though I really hate excessive profanity in movies, I just kind of love it here. 4.5 stars.

In short – not a disappointment. Sequels tend to bring with them that tinge of disappointment, but that didn’t happen in this case. It’s great from beginning to end. One of the best German comedies ever made.

A holiday in an exotic location for the actors from part one... I’m not exactly sure what the moral of this is meant to say. On the one hand, this is about war on poor kids growing grass and on the other about saving diamonds stolen by kids. Even so, it’s much more entertaining than most of the Czech movies released recently.

I simply like these movies. Not only do the creators strive to make it funny from the beginning - and it is funny - but they also give it a story that makes sense and is quite original. However, it mainly relies on the characters, which are simply excellent, and I would gladly return to them again. Karoline Herfurth simply enchanted me, so hopefully next time there will be more.
