The unique film cycle "Řekni mi něco o sobě" was started in the spring of 1989 by director H. Třeštíková. Utilizing her exceptional method in which she follows the subjects over a period of time, Třeštíková focuses on the youth correctional facility in Libkovice. The material was shot over a period of two to five years and captures not only the changes in the lives of the protagonists, but also transformations of the whole society. "The whole film talks about the time when I was first locked up, from sixteen till now, I’m 22 now, and during that whole time I was out maybe five months, and I’ve really had it by now. It’s also about why I’d given my life to Jesus Christ and then failed that Jesus in me because I was tempted by earthly pleasures; and it’s also about how every time I’m ready to start a new life, I get locked up again because it’s always too late. Eine erfolgreiche TV-Dokumentation, die die Geschichte des jungen Martin erzählt, der im Alter von 16 Jahren mit dem Gesetz in Konflikt gerät. Die Lebensparallele ist ähnlich wie die von René. Er freut sich immer auf die Freiheit und einen Neuanfang, aber einen Monat später sitzt er wieder im Gefängnis. Anfangs versucht er zumindest, ein ehrliches Leben zu führen, aber die Vision vom schnellen Geld holt ihn immer wieder ein. Sein spiritueller Weg zu Gott ist ein interessanter Abstecher, aber am Ende sind seine Worte immer so leer wie sein Charakter - ohne Ziel und Ehrgeiz.
