The idea of conveying to filmgoers the experience of walking through a ghost house with handheld cameras proved to be utterly pointless.

The film "The Houses October Built" hides behind the fact that masks are used in the houses of horror, so basically any mask can be used and it will still be believable and considered original. But a killer rabbit? Really? A film that is about houses of horror but really fails to evoke horror, that is definitely not the best mark for a horror movie that just continues the trend of cheap horrors that have nothing to surprise with.
