A gólyák mindig visszatérnek

The autumn of 1956. The eight-year-old Zoltán has been brought up by his mother at the grandparents farm as the father is in prison. One day the boy leaves home, carrying his grandfathers hunting gun with him, to free his father. Among the reeds he wounds a stork and falls into a trap laid in the wetlands. It is his dog that gets him help. Zoli runs a high fever and imagines that he understands the language of animals. By the time he is cured the stork is found and from that time on he takes very good care of the animal. During the revolution, his father is released and returns home. He later goes to fight in Budapest. After the revolution is put down the family leaves to get over the border. Once on the other side, storks fly over them. (Verleiher-Text)
