She is narcoleptic, he is kleptomaniac. They meet by chance at the front door of their therapist. Between sudden urges to sleep and petty thefts in stores, Roberto falls in love with Beatrice and decides that she is the woman of his life... Once upon a time, at the front door of his therapist, the shy and weird Roberto meets the charming as well as ditsy Bea. He's a kleptomaniac and writes unfortunate fairytales (such as "The Forest of Frozen Hobos" or "Alice in Heartquackeland") which scare to hell all the kids listening to them. She is an elementary school teacher, narcoleptic and suffering of sudden and unpredictable amnesia. For this reason she takes note of anything happening to her day by day in a big red book. Between petty theft and unexpected naps, escapes and chases, their relationship progresses and they finally fall in love. But one day, Bea faints again, loses her red book and can't remember anything, including her life with Roberto... (Cinemax)

"Es ist nicht einfach, eine Beziehung mit jemandem zu führen, der zu Hause klaut. Remember Me? hat ein interessantes Thema und ungewöhnliche Hauptfiguren - einen Kleptomanen und eine Narkoleptikerin, die das Schicksal namens Psychotherapeut zusammengeführt hat. Hätten sich die Filmemacher mehr auf das humorvolle Konzept der Beziehung von Beatrice und Robert konzentriert und den Drama-Beziehungsstrang außen vor gelassen, hätte es eine solide Komödie werden können. Die Idee des Vergessens war nicht schlecht, aber ich fand sie ein bisschen unfertig. Nichtsdestotrotz sind es unterhaltsame neunzig Minuten, die man mit einem Film verbringt, der in seinem Ton an 50 erste Dates erinnert.

The title, or rather its Czech translation, have given me a certain idea. Because a few days after watching it, I’m thinking about whether I’ll even be able to remember something about the movie and so far, I can. But I think that I’ll soon forget about it; or at least about the story and its flow. But what I definitely won’t forget is the kindness that it suddenly brought with it and how it lifted my mood.
