Nathan, a thirty-something aspiring Brooklyn writer, returns home to care for his ailing, elderly parents in Florida. His short visit turns into an extended stay during which he learns some lessons about life, love, and growing up. Nathan Fisher is a 35-year-old struggling Brooklyn writer who can't seem to get out of his own way. When his girlfriend kicks him out, and his dad has a stroke he heads to Florida to help take care of his parents. In their small beach-front condo, Nathan struggles with his heartache, his mother's Alzheimer's, and his father's decline. In this dark comedy, Nathan learns that the secrets of his parents long, sometimes rocky, marriage have a lot to teach him. (Verleiher-Text)
