Deep in the Darkness isn't a bad film, and I think it earned a more negative reception overall than it really deserves. Yes, it's not an original film, but it does have an interesting flow and at several points manages to create an atmosphere of uncertainty, where basically every character could be potentially dangerous. I'm satisfied with it, and for me, it easily reaches the average level for a horror movie.
