Jenny is released after ten years in prison. If she manages to fully integrate in society, she might get custody of her daughter. She puts all her hopes in this belief. Unfortunately, her effort is disrupted by a damaging past that returns like a boomerang. The Norwegian drama is a tour-de-force by Arild Østin Ommundsen who is not only its director, but also the scriptwriter, producer, cameraman and editor. He cast his wife and daughter in the main roles, and his sister appears in the film as well. (Febiofest)

This is probably the most depressing movie I saw at the Scandinavian Film Festival at the Lucerna Cinema. Norway really did a great job here. They told me a story that gave me the chills. It shows you how easy it is to get into big trouble that will fuck up your entire life. An amazing Silje Salomonsen, whom I will be watching now as much as I can, portrays a girl who ended up in a hell of a lot of trouble and there was no going back. After she returns from prison, her life starts spinning out of control so hard that the 93 minutes passed really fast. I have to say that the ending really got me. With everything it takes. Silje made this movie really human and her blue eyes at the end showed that things can always get worse.
