WtF??!! The final episode received two stars from me only out of nostalgia because I enjoyed this series, but this? I didn't expect the pirates to win, and if they had, I would have been really mad because I have a sense of reality. But why did the creators turn the last episode into overly-sweetened and pathetic horror? I don't understand. I know what's popular today, but that doesn't mean I have to agree with it. Just like I wouldn't accept the idea of a black person playing a Norse god, I won't accept a conclusion that involves a happy meeting of two gays on a plantation. I think back then it would have at least earned them shared accommodation under the nearest row of corn, or whatever they were growing there.
